Expect a day charged with activities like drumming, games, movement, live music, meditation/mindful practices, and more. Explore tools designed to help you connect to yourself, others, family, friends, your community in a whole new way!

Activities & Workshops
1:00PM - 6:00PM
Welcoming Words & Connections
We will focus on settling into a safe space for transformation, growth & community. We'll take time to get to know each other through some fun games and activities. Together we will set intentions and break down connection walls.
Exploring Prana
This exercise aimed at empowering you to embrace your inner strength through breathing techniques. Prana can refer to energy, life, or breath. In other traditions it is called chi or qui. By controlling the breath in various ways we will explore ways we can influence the flow of prana to find inner resiliency and ultimately find ourselves in a place of acceptance, peace and gratitude.
Integrating Healing & Rhythm Cradle
Dive deep into a sense of unity and healing with this powerful group experience of support that can impact every level of being. We all drum and get drummed by beautiful native frame drums, fused together by the sounds of the didgeridoo, viola and various live soundscapes designed help integrate deep healing and growth.
High Energy Drumming
This high energy approach to drum therapy uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. Recent research reviews indicate that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being, a release of emotional trauma, and reintegration of self.
Sound Journeys & Live Music
Relax, breath. Let’s find our rhythm. Sebastien Bolessa is a musician, Yoga instructor, avid explorer of body movement, and former martial artist. He seeks to score the journeys of dancers, Yoga practitioners, event facilitators, the many people in hospitals, party goers, and more. The purpose of this is to collectively be in the moment. To do this, he recruits the Viola, Didgeridoo, voice, drum, cello, birds and other sources of sound.
Creative Movement Activities & Games
Marcus Fung is a Canadian born Chinese man who ventured down the road of sharing his love for joyful community building through the inclusive, expressive arts. He can often be found sharing his love for facilitating storytelling, song, movement and rhythm. He is a drum circle facilitator and long time children's music and movement educator, often working with adults with special needs and the elderly. He has presented at schools, conferences, workplaces, universities, hospices, festivals and teacher trainings, learning a little more from everybody he meets about the resilience of the human spirit wherever he goes.
