Inner Journeys Dance Co. integrates authentic, expressive movement with breath, intention and spiritual invocation. The performance group is based in Calgary, AB, the seven artists come together with diverse movement skills to collaboratively create performances pieces for theatre shows, festivals and conferences. The company was created by Kylee Dawn (founder of Inner Journeys) and Kyra Newton (Independent Dance Artist), who share a common vision: expand the dance community by sharing in depth performance work, through movement workshops and dance classes. The foundation of the performance work is based on the philosophies of Inner Journeys, creating a safer space for individuals to dive into self-expression and growth.
