    Together we will gather around the oceanfront bonfire and be led through a special practice aimed at grounding us to the present moment, setting intentions and releasing the pieces that are no longer serving us.

  • 8:00 - 9:00 pm | Sunset Sound Journey

    Accompanied by the natural sounds of a crackling fire and playful waves… Sebastien Bolessa will take us on a journey with his viola, mesmerising voice and his uncanny ability to capture and become one with the sounds and energy of the surrounding environment.

  • 9:15 - 10:45 am | Connection & Healing : The Yoga of Relationships

    This trauma-informed, embodiment practice is a safe, creative way to deepen your connection with yourself, and others. You’ll be invited to explore simple postures, breath work, and meditation at your own pace, and with a focus on embodied self-awareness, authentic communication, individual choice, and consent. You’ll be encouraged to listen and share, and perhaps take turns receiving and giving support in forms, as well as experimenting with others in interdependent postures. The potential benefits of practicing relational yoga include; increased self awareness, intimacy, a deeper sense of empowerment and connection, compassion, empathy and trust.

  • 1:00 - 3:00 pm | Shiryin Yoku (Forest Therapy)

    Science shows that spending time in the forest can reduced symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, boost immunity, and increase your memory and ability to focus. In Japan, people are encouraged to practice a type of forest therapy called Shinrin Yoku or forest bathing, which translates to ‘taking in the atmosphere of the forest’. Japanese scientists figured out the trees give off an organic chemical compound, called phytoncides, when you go into the forest with all your senses attuned you bathe in these compounds which then provide a multitude of benefits. There is one glitch, you won’t get the same results hiking, running or mountain biking. It’s a different way of being in nature. By going out with a guide you will be shown how to tap into this simple yet powerful practice. Once you know how to do it, you can practice it at anytime, anywhere, for free, and reap the benefits yourself.

  • 3:15 - 4:45 pm | Sound & Consciousness : The Transformative Power of Mantra

    Mantras are practical, versatile and potent tools that have been a part of every spiritual tradition, and they remain an invaluable gift to modern practitioners. This experiential, and exploratory session will offer an introduction to the science, practice and power of mantra in daily life. We will explore how Sanskrit mantras, and other forms of sacred sound, can shift our consciousness, and facilitate healing, creativity and transformation.

    This high energy approach to drum therapy uses rhythm to promote healing and self-expression. Recent research reviews indicate that drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and produces feelings of well-being, a release of emotional trauma, and reintegration of self.

    This mediation is aimed at empowering you to embrace your inner strength through breathing techniques. Prana can refer to energy, life, or breath. In other traditions it is called chi or qui. By controlling the breath in various ways we will explore ways we can influence the flow of prana to find inner resiliency and ultimately find ourselves in a place of acceptance, peace and gratitude.

  • 10:30 - 11:45 am | Integrating Healing & Rhythm Cradle

    Dive deep into a sense of unity and healing with this powerful group experience of support that can impact every level of being. We all drum and get drummed by beautiful native frame drums, fused together by the sounds of the didgeridoo, viola and various live soundscapes designed help integrate deep healing and growth.

  • 2:00 - 4:00 pm | Embodiment & Resilience : A Trauma Informed Yoga, and iRest Yoga Nidra Practice

    This trauma informed practice offers a blend of seasonal Hatha, Kundalini and Yin yoga forms as an invitation to safely explore your connection to your own body, and breath, and to strengthen your capacity for resilience. For Spring, we will focus on traditional cleansing practices to reduce inflammation, as well as techniques to detoxify your body & mind, build clarity and vitality, and support the liver and gallbladder. The practice will conclude with a deeply restorative, guided yoga nidra meditation for somatic integration. This session is accessible, and inclusive regardless of gender, race, religion, class, physical ability, or body size. Beginners are welcome. No previous yoga experience is required.

    Ocian of Ocian Sound Medicine Music is an established sound practitioner, offering to audiences all across Canada, the United States and beyond. Since 2010, she has been weaving together deeply transformative and profound healing spaces. She hosts and co-creates circles, ceremony and journeys, with the intention of creating resilient, self aware individuals and empowered communities through experiencing the ‘Art of the Muses’: Music & Sound. By combining this fundamental building block of life (sound) with Usui Reiki (masters level), Massage & Touch Therapy and most recently The Alchemists Path: Celtic Shamanism, Wildwood Priestess Training and Numa Somatics Breathwork, Ocian facilitates deep and profound experiential journeys for participants to safely explore the inner world and all it contains. These sessions can include instruments such as: Crystal Bowls, Crystal Lyre, Chimes, Rattles & Feathers, Steel & Medicine Drum, her latest the Sansula and Triple Drone Flute and most specially her etheric and powerful vocal harmonics. These sessions are deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, bringing people into deep states of cathartic release. Many participants have reports of incredible physical, mental, emotional and spiritual shifts after their sessions.
